Drungewick - Long Meadow

Due to seepage from the canal and erosion of the river bank the field was in danger of subsiding into the River Lox. Stone gabion walls have been put into the river to prevent erosion and strengthen the bank. The canal is to the left of the picture. Peter Foulger

The finished product, with the topsoil restored and the river banks profiled to their final shape. Peter Foulger
